The same file across accounts is a reach risk
Platforms recognize a re-uploaded file by its hash and container metadata — and don't always give it the same reach as the original.
A byte-for-byte copy isn't a new file to the platform
If you or your team post the same clip from several accounts or pages, the platform sees an identical file: same hash, same container, same metadata. Uniqualization changes the encoding and metadata while keeping the picture and sound the same.
How it works
A link, a file, or a finished clip
Drop a video link, upload a file (MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM, AVI, M4V), or pick a clip you've already generated in your account — no re-upload needed.
Remux or transcode — depending on the source
If the source is already H.264/HEVC + AAC, the tracks are copied without quality loss. Other codecs are transcoded to H.264 (CRF 18) and AAC 320 kbps. No clipping, captions, music, or watermarks are applied — only the container changes.
A new file: different hash, metadata, optional title
You get an MP4 with faststart, fresh metadata, and, if you set one, a new title. It's a separate, technically distinct file of the same video — not a guarantee of bypassing a platform's repeat-detection algorithms.
